As an Agile Test Engineer you subscribe to the notion that rigorous testing is an integral part of IT development. Together with your Scrum team, you conduct and streamline tests on all levels, from unit tests to end-to-end tests. You have access to a large tooling arsenal, including FitNesse/Selenium, Cucumber, Gatling and Jmeter. You work closely and proactively with developers, and have plenty of opportunities to contribute to the development process itself. A high impact environment is a given, because your go/no-go decisions are often directly related to our core web-platform. At other times, you contribute to personalization, social media integration and/or back-end innovations that optimize order processes. What makes this role extra challenging, is your focus on automated testing, and the fact that you work on a test strategy for new big data technology. You work with PostgreSQL relational databases and NoSQL (big data) variants, such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch and Hadoop.
